Job Description :

Skills and Responsibilities :

  • Strong understanding of billing procedures and accounting principles Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer concerns effectively Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping Proficiency in billing software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing Potential job titles :
  • Customer Service Billing Specialist, Billing Representative, Customer Service Billing Analyst, and Accounts Receivable Specialist.
  • Invoice processing : Generating invoices for customers based on service usage or product orders, verifying accuracy of billing information, and sending invoices timely.
  • Payment processing : Receiving customer payments, updating account balances, and reconciling payments with invoices.
  • Billing inquiry handling : Answering customer questions regarding their bills, explaining charges, and addressing any billing discrepancies.
  • Dispute resolution : Investigating and resolving billing disputes, providing clear explanations to customers, and applying necessary adjustments when appropriate.
  • Account management : Maintaining customer account details, updating billing information as needed, and tracking payment history.
  • Payment reminder sending : Contacting customers with overdue payments to remind them of outstanding balances and encourage timely payment.
  • Reporting and analysis : Generating billing reports, identifying trends, and providing insights to relevant stakeholders.
