Midland Transport is currently seeking skilled and reliable Truck & Trailer Mechanics to join our Kensington / New Annan Garage. The ideal candidates hold a Red Seal certification and have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Shift :
- Monday - Thursday 6 : 30am – 5 : 00pm
- Tuesday – Friday 6 : 30am – 5 : 00pm

Red Seal Certification as a PEI Truck and Transport Mechanic preferred. Consideration will be given to interprovincial Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanics who are willing to complete the PEI certification examTwo or more years of relevant, hands-on experience post-certificationSolid understanding of diesel engines, aftertreatment / electrical diagnostics & air brake systems; experience working on trailers is an assetAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic toolsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a team environmentResponsibilities
Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucksComplete routine maintenance and preventative service on engines, brakes, suspensions, electrical systemsTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issuesEnsure all work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company policiesMaintain accurate records of inspections, services, and repairsAssist in identifying required parts and supplies for repair, and work with parts suppliers as neededCollaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize and complete tasks efficientlyReporting nonconforming situationsOther duties as assigned by the shop supervisor#J-18808-Ljbffr
