Job Summary :

Ascent Employmentis looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Production Baker Assistant to support our baking team in producing high-quality baked goods. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation, baking, and packaging of various bakery items, ensuring that all products meet our quality standards. This role requires a passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Baking Assistance : Assist the head baker with the preparation of doughs, batters, fillings, and other ingredients according to specific recipes and production schedules
• Product Finishing : Help with decorating and finishing baked goods, including glazing, icing, and packaging, ensuring a visually appealing final product
• Quality Control : Monitor the baking process to ensure consistency in product quality, including checking for proper texture, taste, and appearance
• Inventory Management : Assist in managing inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages or ordering needs to the head baker
• Cleaning and Sanitation : Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including washing equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with the bakery team to ensure smooth operations and meet daily production targets
