Job descriptionUndergraduate degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science or related discipline 3 - 5 years of proven analytics experience. Solid research and analytical skills to perform qualitative / quantitative analysis, applying accepted methods to carry out analytical procedures. Advanced knowledge of business intelligence techniques, data manipulation & data visualization tools such as Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI etc. Financial Industry knowledge would be an asset Experience working with Google Analytics and marketing automation tools would be an asset. Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively Exceptional attention to detail Resourceful and a self-starter Engaged team player who is comfortable working in a collaborative environment and using data to make marketing decisions. Passionate about leveraging data & analytics to drive business results.
A typical day would involve :
- Work closely with business stakeholders and marketing colleagues to deliver targeted marketing campaigns to support Vancity’s Member Contact Strategy.
- Design and build solutions to provide ongoing reporting and tracking of marketing efforts.
- Define KPIs and conduct post implementation reviews to measure success of marketing campaigns & programs.
- Analyze internal & external data to identify growth marketing opportunities to meet business objectives.
- Apply organizational risk and compliance standards, policies, procedures and controls to meet regulatory requirements and mitigate risk.
- Develop increasingly deep knowledge around Vancity’s products, services and members.

The salary range for the role is $64,500 to $96,500 . The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill.
