About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director of Mortgage Operations and Servicing, the Manager of Mortgage Servicing will deliver strategic guidance, operational excellence, and foster strong collaboration across teams. The Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day activities related to post‑closing servicing of Harbour Mortgage’s commercial mortgage portfolio, acting as a key liaison between internal departments, external partners and borrowers.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the servicing department for a growing portfolio of 200+ commercial (all asset classes) and residential mortgages, ensuring compliance with internal policies and all regulatory standards.
- Manage a department of two mortgage officers.
- Deliver accurate and timely servicing, including payment processing, escrow administration, discharge statements, and management reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, servicing departments of investors, and other functional areas internally, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Partner with the technology team to optimize existing automation and identify new opportunities to leverage technology within the servicing platform.
- Support regulatory reporting, including preparation of the annual FSRA information return.
- Collaborate with the mortgage fund financing team on cash flow management including maturities, loan funding and construction loans.
Qualifications
- 7+ years commercial mortgage servicing and/or related loan servicing experience.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Collaborative and team focused, with the ability to succeed and contribute to others success within a team.
