Job description

Job Title : Leasing Administrator (Property)

Location : Halifax

As a Lease Administrator you will play a crucial role in organizing and coordinating our senior operations managers and Property Manager. You will ensure compliance with contract terms, negotiate agreements, and collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally and courteously handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain an overall focus on enhancing the customer experience.
  • Receive, sort, inspect and process rent cheques for deposit.
  • Accept and assist with review and completion of lease applications.
  • Provide administrative support for the Property Managers, including preparation of notices and other resident correspondence.
  • Provide administrative support to the leasing agents, providing notices to residents and bookings appointments.
  • Tenant file administration, lease administration.
  • Report to the Property Manager.
  • Other assignments within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job as reasonable requested from time to time by management.

Qualifications

Experience in residential leasing or rental management.

Strong understanding of local rental regulations and compliance.

Proven ability to work towards and meet targets.

Demonstrated success in sales, particularly in lead conversion.

Experience scheduling and coordinating viewings, maintaining schedules and calendars, and booking appointments.

Experience with property management software is considered an asset (Lead Management, Property Vista, Yardi Voyager, Payquad).

Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel & Word.
