Career Opportunity

Drive Autogroup, is currently seeking an experienced and accredited Group Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll functions across the entire group. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in payroll management and be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, while managing a team of 6-7 payroll administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all payroll operations for Drive Autogroup, ensuring compliance with provincial, and federal regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of payroll administrators, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, including salary, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Implement and maintain payroll systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll processes and data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and resolve any payroll discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure alignment on payroll policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on payroll legislation and best practices to recommend improvements and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
  • Accredited Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification.
  • Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a group or multi-entity environment.
  • Experience with Payworks
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
