Machine Learning Research Scientist – AI-Driven Drug Discovery
Remote or Hybrid in Vancouver (U.S. or Canada – PST Time Zone)
Seed-Stage Startup | AI-Powered Drug Development
About Us
Our client is a fast-growing, AI-driven drug discovery startup on a mission to accelerate the time it takes to bring new drugs to human trials. By leveraging cutting-edge machine learning techniques, they aim to revolutionize small molecule drug design and optimization. Currently a 10-person team , they are looking to expand to 15 team members and are seeking top-tier ML researchers to help push the boundaries of AI in drug discovery.
The Role
As a Machine Learning Research Scientist , you will :
- Design, implement, and test different scenarios within our from-scratch ML architecture to optimize the properties of small molecule drugs.
- Continually improve the robustness of our existing codebase through refactoring, testing, and best engineering practices.
- Apply our ML pipeline to new drug targets , ensuring state-of-the-art performance and scalability.
This is a fully remote role , but you must be able to work within Pacific Time Zone (PST) hours .
