Mechanical Designer (HVAC)

The Mechanical Designer I performs their job functions under the supervision of a projects Engineer-of-Record. The Mechanical Designer II works on matters of basic to intermediate complexity under the responsible charge of the registered Mechanical Engineer. This role is expected to work closely with other architects engineers and designers as well as other internal and external team members to ensure a coordinated constructible and complete design. Tasks include assisting with 3D modeling and design conducting field investigations performing red-to-black markup / review tasks and producing discipline deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Interface with client and external partners preferred
• Travel as required for client development and project execution preferred
• Work on a variety of mechanical assignments supporting all phases of design including initial planning feasibility scope and concept development detailed design construction documentation and construction administration
• Assist with 3D modeling and design conducting field investigations performing red-to-black markup / review tasks and producing discipline deliverables
