Job Description
- Executing patient-focused primary care as physician of record for a defined patient panel, and providing health promotion, prevention of disease and disorders as well as rehabilitative care for patients.
- Completing comprehensive assessments / screenings utilizing experience, knowledge, training, and evidence-based practices and standards.
- Consulting with other medical practitioners evaluating patients' physical and mental health, referrals to specialist care, cross-referral to additional on-site services (health counseling and support, multidisciplinary health, and rehabilitation care services, etc.).
- Working as part of a larger inter-disciplinary team with respect for all.
- Experience in pediatrics, adult medicine, aging population, and refugee programs a benefit.
- Working autonomously with professionalism, and respect for ethical principles.
- Participate in regular on-call schedule for clinic physicians.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions to patients while demonstrating empathy, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Physician must be able to work with diverse patients as the clinic provides newcomer and refugee services.
Job Qualifications
