DUTIES

The duties include but not limited to including preparation and delivery of course content, development, administration, and marking of assignments, project, midterm and final exams etc. and final portfolios.

The Department of Engineering at Thompson Rivers University is a recent initiative to offer the Software Engineering Degree Program. The department is seeking to hire  Sessional Instructor   on a contract basis to teach (THREE Courses) Software Engineering Design : Process & Principles, Engineering Economics and Software Quality Engineering in the Winter 2025. These courses are subject to budgetary approval.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree preferable , Computer or Electrical Engineering discipline.
  • Must have a valid Professional Engineering License
  • Must have experience teaching Software Engineering courses.
  • Related teaching experience is considered as an asset.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required
