About Us :

Sunset Manor, operated by Sleepy Cove Tickle Holdings, is a senior care home located in Twillingate, NL. We provide care to a maximum of 23 residents with 24 / 7 operations, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for our residents.

Position Overview :

We are seeking dedicated and flexible individuals to join our team as On-Call Workers. This role offers a variety of duties, including food preparation, baking, and resident care as needed. If you are passionate about working with seniors and enjoy a dynamic work environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary requirements and menu plans.
  • Bake a variety of items such as bread, desserts, and snacks for residents.
  • Assist with resident care tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and food handling procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to meet the needs of residents.
  • Laundry Services & Floor

Qualifications :

  • Experience in food preparation, baking, or caregiving is an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A compassionate and patient attitude towards seniors.
  • Food Safety Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Clear criminal records and vulnerable sector check and vaccinations.
