Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with an organization within the Aviation industry to support the recruitment of multiple Aircraft Engineers.
These are full-time opportunities working in a hybrid structure out of Downtown Ottawa. The successful candidate will perform various airworthiness activities for their aircraft fleet, including risk management, configuration management, maintenance program management, design change management, in-service monitoring, and technical problem resolution.
The successful candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities :
- Lead the development of an Airworthiness Clearance Plan, collaborating with the Head of Engineering, other Fleet Engineers, the Technical Airworthiness Authority, and OEMs.
- Monitor and oversee activities to ensure Release to Service, encompassing data deliverables, action items, risks, and issues.
- Represent technical and airworthiness aspects for the fleet
- Create and maintain the fleet's design assistance network, involving aircraft and engine original equipment manufacturers.
- Assist the Integrated Test Team with the creation and implementation of the Aircraft Integrated Test Program, including all necessary certification tests, Engineering Test and Evaluation, and Operational Test and Evaluation.
- Aid in the creation of the Engineering Process Manual
- Provide support for aircraft procurement and acceptance tasks as needed.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent expertise.
- Minimum of 5 years in aircraft technical support within active operations.
- Familiarity with the DND Airworthiness Program
- Skilled in using MS Office applications.
- Background in managing engineering projects.
