Intent of the process
The intent of this process is to fill current and future vacancies with various employment tenures.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
EDUCATION
ED1. Possession of a valid applicable provincial / territorial or Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in one or more of the following : insulator, carpenter-joiner, electrician, electrician and linemen, electrician and electrician specializing in security systems installation, refrigeration technician with halocarbon environmental qualification, pipe fitter or plumber.
A military DP-2 equivalent qualification for applicable trades.
NOTE : Applicable trades for a military DP-2 equivalent qualification are Plumbing and Heating Technician, Construction Technician, Electrical Distribution Technician, and Refrigeration and Mechanical Systems Technician.
EXPERIENCE
EX1 : Experience in repair, maintenance, inspection or installation of systems and equipment related to the trade(s) to be filled

COE2. Possession of a valid and unrestricted Provincial or Territorial Driver’s Licence, as well as being able to obtain and maintain a DND 404 driving permit.
It is important to know that all conditions of employment must be met at the time of appointment and candidates must continue to meet and maintain the conditions of employment throughout their employment.
