Our client is sourcing an IT Technical Support Analyst for a 6-month contract.
About the Opportunity
End-User Hardware & Device Support :
Investigate and resolve system performance degradation, hardware failures, and operating system issues.
Coordinate hardware replacements, repairs, and warranty claims with equipment manufacturers and service providers.
Track and maintain accurate records of all IT assets across multiple locations. Mobile Device Management (Intune & MaaS360) :
Register mobile devices and ensure they meet security and compliance requirements.
Implement and maintain device policies, configuration settings, and access controls.
Provide support for mobile and field-based business applications including fleet, tracking, and documentation platforms. Printing & Scanning Systems :
Support and maintain multifunction printers and scanning devices across various sites.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to scan-to-email, scan-to-SharePoint, and network file destinations.
Troubleshoot printer driver issues and resolve connectivity problems with print servers. Cloud & Virtual Infrastructure Support :
Assist with day-to-day administration of virtual servers and cloud-based systems.
Support identity and access management within Azure Active Directory.
Provision user accounts, manage licenses, and update access and security policies. Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Tools :
Support mailbox configuration and maintenance within Exchange Online.
Manage access permissions and content within Microsoft Teams and SharePoint environments.
Troubleshoot and configure Microsoft 365 applications for end users. Security & Endpoint Protection :
Respond to security alerts and escalations from managed detection and response services.
Ensure endpoint protection agents are functioning correctly and resolve compliance issues.
Assist in strengthening organizational security posture by addressing Secure Score recommendations.
Verify that systems remain updated, encrypted, and aligned with security standards. Network & Firewall Support :
Assist infrastructure teams with firewall updates and maintenance activities.
Perform post-change validation to confirm network stability and connectivity.
Troubleshoot issues related to VPN access, wireless connectivity, and site network disruptions. On-Site Technical Support :
Deliver hands-on IT support at corporate offices and remote or field locations as required.
Install and configure new site technology including networking equipment, printers, scanners, and user devices. Documentation & Service Management :
Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Record recurring issues and ensure service tickets are resolved within defined SLAs.
Develop end-user guides and reference materials for frequently used systems and applications.
About You
Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable hands-on experience.
Between one and three years of experience providing technical support in a help desk or IT support role.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve issues within Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
Practical experience administering endpoint and cloud platforms including Intune, MaaS360, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
Working knowledge of virtualized environments such as Hyper-V, VMware, or Azure-hosted virtual machines.
Solid understanding of core networking concepts including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on end-user support and service delivery.
CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent foundational technical knowledge.
CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent networking fundamentals.
Microsoft endpoint management certifications (MD-100 and / or MD-101).
ITIL v4 Foundation certification or familiarity with IT service management best practices.
