Position

Part-time – Pediatric Registered Nurse in Orangeville, ON

Shift details : 16 : 00 / 17 : 00-21 : 00 / 22 : 00 (Fri, Sat, Sun) and 15 : 30-20 : 00 (Mon-Fri). This position is 14 hours per week with flexibility on the days.

General Duties

• Seizure management
• Administer and document medications as prescribed, following CNO medication administration standards
• Monitor and maintain the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics
• Maintain child\'s records and required documentation in accordance with CNO standards
• Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
• Observe and report on changes in child\'s condition to guardian and WeeCare
• Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids
• Demonstrate understanding of child’s needs and maximize abilities
• Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child / parent / guardian
• Respond to child / parent / guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
• Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child’s equipment and belongings
• Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child’s safety, incidents, and accidents
• Complete all other tasks as assigned
