Outside Sales Representative

Overview

Outside Sales Representative at Industrial Commercial Supplies. This role partners with contractors to understand their needs and assist in planning construction projects; as a knowledgeable sales professional, contractor sales representatives are able to make recommendations which solve customers’ problems.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates high standards of safety and customer service
• Is a resource of knowledge for our customers
• Produces quotes, material lists and follows up on deliveries
• Achieves weekly, monthly and annual sales targets
• Maintains a contact list and contact schedule for prospective and existing customers
• Grows the geographic sales area by building new relationships with contractors and strengthening relationships with existing accounts
• Cold-calling new customers to build their business portfolio
• Continually learns about products and market conditions

Industrial Commercial Supplies (ICS) provides building materials specifically for commercial and industrial projects in Atlantic Canada. We are dedicated to serving commercial contractors with specialty commercial products for the entire building envelope. We work with the best brands in the commercial building space for interior fit up, commercial roofing, foundation supplies, above and below grade membranes and coatings as well as the required tools and accessories. As a part of the Retail and Distribution Division of J.D.
