About the Role

Join a team and be a key part of the journey towards becoming the Best Operator. As the Lead for Safe Production System (SPS), you will play a central role in driving systematic improvements in operations, helping to enhance safety, reliability, and productivity across global teams.

As a Principal Advisor, you will collaborate with product groups, line management, and Operational Excellence (OE) teams to ensure mastery of SPS tools, mindset, and behaviors. Your role will be essential in upskilling teams and creating a sustainable path toward operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and facilitate assessments on-site to identify improvement areas and support leaders in adopting the right tools and behaviors.
  • Drive performance improvements by developing site leaders, OE / BI teams, and SPS delivery teams in problem-solving, waste elimination, and Kaizen techniques.
  • Cultivate a culture of change by leading by example and instilling Lean attitudes and SPS Mindsets.
  • Provide training sessions and workshops to promote Best Practices across teams.
  • Work closely with the COO Design and Capability Teams to develop and benchmark Best Practices that align with the path to becoming the Best Operator.

What You’ll Bring :

  • A commitment to safety, respect, and the core values of the company (Care, Courage, Curiosity).
  • Significant experience in operations, maintenance, or leadership roles, preferably in lean-driven industries such as the automobile industry.
  • Extensive experience in Operational Excellence, particularly in PDCA, Lean methodologies, complex problem-solving, waste elimination, and Kaizen.
  • Strong ability to instill the will to change in others and lead transformational initiatives.
  • Autonomous, hands-on, and result-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to various sites.
