CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS :
Degree / Level of Education : Post graduate education in Adult Learning & Development or Instructional Design is preferred
Preferred / Ideal Candidate Background : Instructional design / development experience in building complex (level 4) simulations is required, preferably at a banking or financial institution; critical to have eLearning design experience.

Learning and Development is responsible for the strategic direction and establishment of learning and performance enablement solutions to build capabilities for leaders and employees. The function takes a high-level view to ensure continuous development through on-the-job learning and helping employees perform better in their jobs. It enhances and supports the achievement of business objectives today and for the future.
Accountabilities :
Reporting to the Manager, Instructional Technology Development, the Learning & Development Designer / Developer will design high quality, multi-approach blended learning and performance solutions on a variety of learning projects that support business strategic priorities, enable people strategies and impact key business measures. This individual will also design and develop media, graphics and interactive web-based assets for innovative learning and performance solutions that strengthen employee capabilities and knowledge.
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills :
1) Minimum of 8+ years of instructional design / development experience is required
2) Experience in building complex (level 4) simulations, videos and assessments is required
3) Expert level knowledge of eLearning development using Articulate Storyline 3 or and Rise is required
4) Strong creative and graphic design skills are required
5) Expert level knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and experience with other Microsoft Office applications (I.E. Excel, Outlook, Word) is required
6) Experience with Accessible Design (designing fully accessible solutions, testing assets through screen readers such as JAWS and for Keyboard navigation) following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) is required
NICE-TO-HAVE
1) Portfolio of past work in instructional design and development is recommended
2) Experience with GoAnimate / Vyond, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Camtasia video production tools are an asset
3) Experience with of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other graphic design components within the Adobe Creative Cloud product suite is an asset
4) Preferably at a banking or financial institution
5) Proficient knowledge of learning and performance enablement solutions, program design, design inputs for program evaluation, learning consultation, needs analysis, learning instructional design and content design analysis are preferred
6) Experience with Adobe Connect, WebEx, MS Teams virtual learning tools is preferred
