Art Director

This position is with Mint, Salt’s sister company. While Salt is supporting Mint with the recruitment process, the successful candidate will be employed directly by Mint and will receive Mint’s perks, benefits, and employment terms.

The Role:

Mint is looking for a passionate, talented Art Director to join our team. Reporting to a CD, you’ll get the opportunity to flex your creative chops and work on a wide range of integrated campaigns and projects – including experiential, content, digital, print, PR and more. Responsible for concept-driven ideas, tactical executions and overall visual direction, the Art Director is a key collaborative member of the creative team.

Responsibilities:

• Generate ideas based on creative briefs that are grounded in relevant culture, trends, and insights
• Develop visual language and steer visual direction of projects
• Collaborate with agency peers, partners, vendors, and clients
• Present creative work compellingly to both internal stakeholders and clients alike

Skills, Abilities and Experience:

• 2-5+ years of experience at a creative agency
• Portfolio demonstrating strong creative work, both in thinking and craft
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Fluent in English, oral and written
• Experience in art direction in multiple formats, for example film, print, web, social, branding
• Strong aesthetic inspired by forward thinking design trends
• Proficient in creative suite for Mac
