FORKLIFT DRIVER / ORDER PICKER

We are looking to hire a full-time forklift operator for our loyal client, a kitchenware retailer in Longueuil. Here is a summary of the position :

• Main duties :  - Prepare orders using QR codes- Validate quantities and products and ensure they comply with established standards and regulations- Wrap pallets- Load / operate a forklift and pallet truck- Participate in physical inventory counts- Perform other material handling duties, such as counting, weighing, packing, and unpacking various products- Participate in general warehouse maintenance- Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all company health and safety policies
• Requirements :  - At least 2 to 3 years experience in order preparation and as a forklift operator- Forklift operator's license (counterbalanced and electric reach)- Basic computer skills- Familiar with barcodes- Able to lift loads up to 40 lbs- Able to work with radio frequency warehouse systems- Able to work standing up for long periods of time- Able to work under pressure during peak periods- Sense of initiative- Sense of responsibility and attention to detail- Ability to perform physical work- Reliable - Versatility - ability to adapt to change
