Banquet Supervisor

Banquet department hosts a variety of different events including wedding, birthdays, celebrations of life, golf tournament and many more.

This position is seasonal part time with the possibility of full time. Peak times for banquets are May to September, November and December.

Job Duties include:

• Ensures the event runs on time
• Ensures staff is on task and supporting them whenever necessary
• Writes a detailed report for the F&B Management team regarding the event
• Communicates with the kitchen staff regarding dinner/dessert times
• Correctly charges all invoiced items to the event account
• Locking down the building at the end of the night
• Anything else asked by the F&B Management team

Job Requirements/Qualifications :

• Previous experience in Banquet and/or Restaurant Supervision in a hotel and/or restaurant
• Serving It Right license is mandatory and Foodsafe is an asset
• Reliable transportation is mandatory (public transit does not run up the mountain past 10pm)
• Needs to be available for minimum 3 shifts a week including one weekend day (Fri-Sun). Open availability would be ideal. Preference given to those with full tim availability.
• Must be willing to undergo training for lower positions (server/bartender/setter/BSA) before starting as a supervisor
• Must be able to work last night (ie 3am or later)
• Must be 18+ because of alcohol service
