Base Pay Range

CA$75,000.00 / yr - CA$80,000.00 / yr

Skills Required

Experience : 7 to 9 years in IT Operations.
Relevant Experience : Minimum 4-5 years in Networking.
Technical Skills : OSPF, BGP, Switching and Routing, VRFs, Multicast, DMVPN, VxLAN, BGP / EVPN, 802.1x, Palo Alto, and RADIUS.
Technical Certification : CCNA and Palo Alto Certification (Preferred).

Job Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support network infrastructure for large scale networks.

Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and monitor firewall logs, network traffic, and security events.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues.

Design, deploy, configure, and manage Palo Alto Networks' firewall solutions, including Panorama, Global Protect, and Threat Prevention.

Develop and implement network security policies, rules, and access controls based on industry best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.

Deploy Cisco and Palo Alto devices; administrate Network Access Control solutions such as Cisco ISE and Duo.

Experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst and Arista switches.

Deep understanding of protocols : OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, VRFs, multicast, DMVPN, VxLAN, BGP / EVPN, 802.1x, and RADIUS.

Escalation points for network support engineers.
