What you\'ll do
As the Economic Development Student, you will assist with business outreach, collecting and analyzing relevant business data, preparing reports, and assisting with providing general administrative support.Business Count : You will conduct interviews and observational assessments with local businesses to collect and identify relevant data.Administration Support : You will provide general support including, but not limited to, coordination of meetings and interviews, inputting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and collaborating with Communications and other internal / external stakeholders.In accordance with County Policy, a Criminal Record Check that is acceptable to the County will be required as a condition of employment.

Our non-negotiables : You are a current student in a Business Administration or related program and are either returning to school in the fall or graduating in 2026. You have flexible availability and are available to work occasional weekends throughout the summer. You have a valid Ontario G2 (or higher) driver\'s license and a clean driver\'s abstract.Experience : You have experience with general administrative activities, including research and data collection / management. Previous work experience with small businesses would be considered an asset.Skills We\'re Looking For : You are comfortable organizing and conducting meetings / interviews.
