Physician Occupational Medicine

Job Description

Our federal government client is seeking the services of an experienced Physician to provide onsite occupational health services to its members in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Tasks

• Participate in a case conferences with the Manager, Health Services team and / or the Disability Management Advisors (DMA’s) to ensure an effective collaborative approach to service delivery.
• Meet with Members in person or virtually to discuss relevant medical information, medical profile (MP) assignments, and treatment recommendations.
• Review medical files, including review of medications, medical conditions, and new updates from care providers.
• Conduct medical reviews, including the review of psychological reports.
• Provide expert testimony or response to the Canadian Human Rights Commission, Internal Administrative Matters, Federal Court matters, and the Access to Information Program (ATIP).
