partner staffing on behalf of our Client , we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Contaminated Sites Manager in the Vancouver area to lead and manage site investigation, remediation, and risk assessment projects. The successful candidate will have expertise in environmental site assessments (ESAs), contaminated site management, and regulatory compliance. They will be responsible for project oversight, client relationship management, and technical leadership to support the company’s environmental services portfolio.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Develop and implement contaminated site remediation strategies, including risk assessment and management.
- Oversee data collection, site monitoring, and reporting to ensure compliance with provincial and federal environmental regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, including findings, risk assessments, and recommendations for remediation.
- Engage with regulatory authorities to obtain permits and approvals, ensuring projects adhere to legal and environmental requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, biologists, and geoscientists.
- Maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives through proposal preparation and client presentations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field.7+ years of experience in contaminated site management, site assessments, and remediation.Professional designation (e.g., P.Geo., P.Eng., R.P.Bio.) or eligibility for registration.Extensive knowledge of BC Contaminated Sites Regulation (CSR) and related federal guidelines.Proven experience managing large-scale remediation projects and complex environmental assessments.Strong technical writing skills for reports and regulatory submissions.Excellent project management and client relationship skills.Benefits
