Senior Finance Data and Reporting Analyst

Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Finance Process and Systems, the Senior Finance Data and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining data models, dashboards and reports for the Finance team and serve as liaison on the Data Governance team to ensure timely and accurate data. They will also provide training and support to Finance report writers and ensure adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining reports and data models in various tools (Cognos, Power BI, Reports Now, Planning Analytics (TM1)).
• Working with the Data Lead, ensure all data required for Finance reports and analytics are created timely and adhere to Cavendish standards established by the Governance Council.
• Owning the finance data and leading the reporting process.
• Supporting Finance Process Leads in their mandate to optimize process and systems.
• Publisher of Finance reports to Production, to ensure adherence to standards (Report Steward).
• Providing support and training to other report writers in Finance.
• All other duties as assigned.
