User Experience Specialist

Bradford Jacobs is assisting an enterprise drone technology firm focusing on drone development and a range of software solutions, including payment, plant tracking, hemp business management, supply chain, compliance, and government auditing software as they look to hire a User Experience (UX) Specialist.We are seeking a talented User Experience (UX) Specialist to join their team. As a UX Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional user experiences for our products and services. You will use your expertise in user research, design, and testing to ensure that our products are intuitive, efficient, and delightful to use.Responsibilities : User Research : Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviors.Analyze user data to identify trends and insights.Create user personas and journey maps to represent the target audience.Information Architecture : Organize and structure information to create intuitive and easy-to-navigate user interfaces.Develop information architectures and sitemaps.User Interface Design : Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, functional, and accessible.Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.Collaborate with UI designers to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.Conduct usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of designs.User Testing : Plan and execute user testing sessions to gather feedback on product usability.Analyze user testing data to identify areas for improvement.Iterate on designs based on user feedback.Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision and goals.Communicate design decisions and rationale to team members.Stay Up-to-Date : Stay current with the latest UX trends and best practices.Attend industry conferences and workshops to expand knowledge and skills.Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.2+ years of experience as a UX Designer or similar role.Strong understanding of UX principles and methodologies.Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Portfolio demonstrating strong UX design skills.
