In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting a wide range of Employee Experience (EX) initiatives (e.g., employee engagement, hybrid, onboarding, performance management, recognition, employer awards, etc.). The solutions you deliver will enhance individuals, teams, and support our culture with achieving Definity’s mission, vision and strategic goals. To achieve this, we leverage cutting-edge tools like Qualtrics to gather insights to support us in continuously improving our employee experience. We take a collaborative and systematic approach to enhancing a highly engaged, high performing culture.
Listening and Engagement
- Assumes lead role for Life-Cycle Surveys (Onboarding, Exit, Student etc.) as part of our Listen Strategy including partnering on the development of project and communication plans, change needs and training
- Provides thought leadership on practical ways to embed listening into the employee lifecycle
- Partner with 3rd party vendor to achieve survey project milestones and oversees employee survey 'go lives'
- Analyzes survey results and feedback to identify trends, areas of opportunity and actionable insights
- Manages data and assists with interpretation of it, provides relevant reporting (Leader Dashboards, Executive Leadership, Board of Directors, etc.) and supports HRBPs, leaders and employees in understanding survey process, tools, reporting and action planning
- Provide technical support for Qualtrics including troubleshooting issues, configuring surveys and ensuring data integrity
- Act as a point of contact for the system, helping to address issues and improve overall experience
- Stays up-to-date with the latest features and updates from Qualtrics, ensuring our use of the platform remains current and effective
- Support other survey needs as required (e.g. Confidential Self-Disclosure)
Recognition and Employer Awards
Partners with colleagues across HR and the business including Marketing & Communications to identify appropriate Top Employer awards to apply for, define approach to Top Employer submissions, develop relevant content, gain approvals on submissions and communicate / celebrate results in meaningful ways to inspire employee engagement and pride in the companyDevelops and implements strategies to position Definity as a top employer in the industryPrepare and submit applications for top employer awards and certifications, ensuring all criteria is met and deadlines are adhered toResearches, summarizes and synthesizes information to ensure that we’re creating compelling submissionsMonitor industry trends and benchmarks to continually enhance our top employer strategiesPartners with 3rd party vendors on achieving project milestonesOther Key Initiatives
Partners with HR and other leaders on projects focused on attracting and retaining talent in practical, impactful waysProvides input and feedback on Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility (IDEA) initiatives as neededSupports the team on project deliverables as requiredWhat do you bring to the role?
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field5+ years’ experience in areas related to employee experience, attraction and retention, performance management, culture, values and behaviours, IDEA, change management or onboardingExcellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide practical and actionable insights for various audiences (from all employees to ELT and Board)Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills with ability to story tell and distill information to a consumable formatAbility to interact with stakeholders at all levels and articulately gain buy in and consensus through coaching, facilitating, presenting and guiding projects.Clear client focused approach with ability to assess and analyze needs and determine meaningful, practical solutions to meet them, as well as support the sustainment of the change(s) being madeDemonstrated experience with planning large-scale organizational change management processes with hands-on delivery to shift mindset, behaviors, and achieve resultsStrong understanding of leading practices, emerging trends and design thinking for employee experience or engagement; diversity and inclusion; performance management, culture, values and behaviours; or onboardingStrong technology capabilities (Microsoft Office; HRIS, survey platforms); experience partnering with a provider is an assetPassion for creating a supportive and engaging workplaceAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionSome travel required between our office locationsSalary range : $66,300 - $122,100
