Position Summary
Reporting to the Materials Manager, Aviation, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated, well organized, responsible individual who will provide clerical support to the Aviation Department to ensure effective and efficient administrative operations.
Responsibilities :
- Invoice reconciliation as part of the Accounts Payable process, which includes : Invoice coding to the correct G / L and Cost CentreMatching invoices to Purchase Orders;Reconciling all Non-PO purchases;Following up delinquent goods receiptsCommunicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
- Prepare requisitions and quotes as part of the RFP / RFQ process;
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
- Re-order of office and shipping supplies
- Assist as required with shipping and receiving
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent; Post-secondary education with a diploma in related Office Administration, or equivalent, is preferred;Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a related clerical / office administrative role;Energetic, enthusiastic team-player, eager to learn and grow;Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills;Excellent planning, prioritizing, and multi-tasking abilities;Ability to work independently;Strong attention to detail;Experience using SAP.At Ornge, we are :
