Network Engineer

GFL Environmental is growing and were looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in this role youll design deploy and support secure network solutions that drive our enterprise operations. Were looking for a hands-on professional who thrives on solving complex challenges and collaborating across teams.

What Youll Do:

• Design configure and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (firewalls routers switches access points)

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on network design and deployment

• Architect implement and support network and security solutions

• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues (L3 support)

• Maintain network documentation and mentor team members

• Support after-hours deployments and site modifications

What You Bring:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5 years of experience in network design and implementation

• Certifications such as NSE4 CCNA (CCNP/NSE7 an asset)

• Strong knowledge of Fortinet Cisco Aruba and virtualization technologies

• Experience with AWS/Azure networking firewalls IAM and automation scripting

• Excellent communication problem-solving and leadership skills
