SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
The incumbent of this position ensures the proper functioning of the computer equipment for the entire company. The person is also responsible for managing the inventory and procuring all computer equipment for the IT service.
Responsibilities
Users' support :
- Provide support to users and solve their technical problems.
- Investigate problems, identify source, test possible solutions, and apply correction / change.
- Provide guidance and training to users to maximize their use of computer systems, networks and other applications
- Keep all requests and incidents up to date in a case management tool
- Act as a resource person
- Maintain the confidentiality of information disclosed during a routine technical support request
Infrastructure maintenance :
Install, configure and maintain the company's computer equipment (workstation, telephone, modification of user accounts, updating of computers, file servers, network cables, etc.);Support corporate networks (firewall, VPN, WIFI, LAN / WAN)Install and upgrade computer stations, software, network printers and other peripheralsManage IT department inventories and purchasesOTHER FUNCTIONS / POINTS
