Azure Data Engineer - Databricks - 12 month contract to perm - Halifax NS

Position : Azure Data Engineer Databricks

Location : Hybrid 2x per week in office (Halifax NS Downtown)

Structure : 12month contract with option to convert fulltime

We have a great new opportunity for a Databricks Data Engineer to support one of our Financial Services clients in a contract capacity!

Requirements :

• 6 years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong experience with Databricks
• Strong proficiency in TSQL and experience in migrating traditional SQL workloads to Databricks
• Expertise in data modeling ETL processes and data warehouse concepts
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services particularly Azure Databricks
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI / CD pipelines
• Python programming is preferred
• Financial Services experience is highly valued
