Job descriptionCompletion of high school Previous experience in structural steel fabrication shop considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Prep steel beams for paint
- Spray paint steel beams
- Working outside in Shipping yard.
- Finding and marking steel beams to be loaded for shipping.
- Using overhead crane to steel onto load trucks.
- Assist with taping areas.
- Snow Removal
Requirements
As a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Ocean Steel & Construction Ltd. offers a comprehensive compensation package beginning after completing forty-five (45) working shifts, including seniority with Shopmen’s Local Unit No.809, overtime hours worked paid at time & a half; double time on weekends, health and dental coverage, life insurance and RRSP options.
