Forbes Bros Ltd. is looking for a Hydrovac Operator to join our growing team supporting our projects based out of the Prince Albert, SK Region.

Key Responsibilities :

Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day

Responsible for preforming pre & post trip inspections, roadside repairs, and general clean-up of units

Drives and operators hydrovac units to complete tasks associated with daylighting, excavation, trenching & shorting

Rigging in and rigging out of equipment, hoses, fittings, pipes, etc., as per job specification

Complete all required paperwork daily

Read and understand drawings & making calculations and adjustments in grades

Mentor Swamper regarding required assistance to complete job duties

Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned

Candidate Requirements :

Class 3 or Class 1 driver's license & clean drivers abstract required

Ground Disturbance Level II

Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS)

Boring / directional drilling experience an asset

Understanding of underground utilities is preferred

Physically fit and able to provide hands on assistance to crew members

Must be safety orientated

Flexible in hours worked, travel and working in adverse weather conditions

Ability to take and execute instructions and duties assigned to you
