Job description:

Trans-Frt McNamara is looking for licensed technicians who are motivated and determined to make an impact in the transportation industry. As a growing fleet we are looking for multiply individuals to fill a few positions located in Ayr, Ontario.

Duties:

• Maintenance and preventative maintenance of company fleet to ensure efficient operation
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery
• Responsible for the inspections, diagnosis, and repair on both tractors and trailers
• Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions
• Follow and practice workplace health and safety regulations and ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and environmentally sound facility
• Other related tasks, as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid 310T license or a valid RedSeal
• Proven experience as a Mechanic
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance applications as well as the transportation industry rules and regulations
• Have their own set of tools
• Creative and efficient problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to varying situations.
• Be self-motivated and proactive in taking on any task that may arise
• Cooperative attitude, team player

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Monday -Friday 8 am - 5 pm
