About the role

We’re looking for a Manager, Data Science, to join our growing team!

What you'll do here :

• Manage a multidisciplinary team in designing, developing and applying Machine Learning models (pricing, telematics program, fraud, process automation, etc.).
• Help build the industry’s best data science team by keeping our specialists motivated and engaged in an agile environment and helping them grow their careers.
• Collaborate with partners across the company to develop our AI vision, identify and prioritize AI use cases and implement solutions.

What you bring to the table :

• Minimum of five years’ professional experience in an analytical and innovative environment, including at least two years in management or coaching.
• Data science enthusiast with a background in a related field, including (but not limited to) : Machine learning, Computer science, Software engineering, Physics, Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics.
• Understanding of underlying Machine Learning theory and the Predictive Modeling Lifecycle.
• Previous experience in insurance or finance is an asset.
• Strong communication, time management and work organization skills.

Bilingual (French and English) : Need to interact on a regular basis with a English-speaking colleagues across the country.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
