AsaCommercial Insurance Advisor, you will apply your superior attention to detail and excellent client service skills while working closely with a team of Producers and Marketers on our Commercial accounts. You will help build long-term relationships with our clientswithhelping to answer client inquires and requests through policy andcoverageinsurers.

A day in the life -

• Assistproducer and marketer with all aspects of servicing commercial accounts

• Meet existing clients’ needs and process documentation (Certificates of Insurance, Cover Notes, Renewals, Proposals, Endorsements, In-House Policies, Invoicing, Finance Contracts, Customer Correspondence)

• Review and ensure accuracy of policy documentation from insurers beforeforwardingto the client

• Contact clients for renewal information

• Take client calls and answer questionsregardingcoverages, accept and process online quotes

• Negotiate with insurers on coverage and priceso as tobest meet the needs of the client in conjunction with the producer

• Update client information as changesoccur

• Answer account related questions/requests from clients, lawyers, and banks

• Provide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry

• Will be assigned some minimal, but regular duties to help support the floater position

What you will bringto our team -

• Level 2 Insurance License or willingness to obtain

• Self-motivated witha strong senseof urgency

• Motivated to help support a diverse team and contributeina team environment

• Minimum ofone yearcommercial insurance experience as an Insurance Advisor

• Pro-active and a self-starter with a keen attention to detail

• Strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver positive client experiences and meet their desired needs

• Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and verbal), present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

• Works well in a fast paced, client-focused environment

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Industry designation an asset (CIP, CAIB, CRM, General Insurance & Risk Management Diploma – BCIT)

Salary Expectations –

The expectedsalary rangefor this position is$55,000 to $75,000and will beimpactedby factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
