Our valued public sector client is seeking a Senior Secret Cleared Project Manager to manage the improvement of cyber security and IT security
Our client’s Project Management and Delivery division is responsible for providing strategic guidance on cyber security;
integrating with areas of risk management, information security, policy, and technical support teams; and to deliver planned strategic IT security initiatives for the our client.
The team has started on a number of IT security projects to strengthen our client’s IT security posture and to improve how cyber security is managed as a program.
To fulfill this mandate, our client is in need of a Project Manager (PM3), who has the right skill-set and experience to help achieve its mandate.
Must Have :
- Significant experience managing Agile projects
- 5+ years managing Cyber Security projects
- Secret clearance
Tasks include :
- Determine and manage milestones, costs, deadlines, risks, accountabilities and critical factors.
- Lead multi-disciplinary matrix organized teams.
- Address issue and change management, determine impact of changes against project plan / schedule and maintains overall control of the schedule.
- Track and monitor project deliverables. Provide reports on project progress and accomplishments and submit recommendations to resolve issues.
Follow up with the teams and moves the project forward.
- Coordinate activities to carry out project post implementation reviews and on-going support to identify improvements in technologies, tools, and processes.
- Plan and coordinate IT security projects.
- Lead / conduct cost / benefit analysis and / or business cases to determine project feasibility with various stakeholders.
- Manages tasks to ensure quality, mitigate issues and risks.
