Summary of Job

The IT Project Manager at TRADER is responsible for delivery of various IT projects. This person is accountable for the overall execution, management and quality control of multiple complex IT projects, ensuring client and key stakeholder satisfaction, meeting and reporting on all timeline milestones.Typical projects include deploying mainstream, and emerging technologies with hybrid-infrastructure, data analytics, and business transformation verticals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to understanding project scopes, estimates, change requests, schedules, proactively managing details and requirements, monitoring and communicating risks, problem solving, identifying opportunities and troubleshooting when problems arise. The IT Project Manager is expected to stay current with new and latest technologies.This position will work very closely with cross-functional stakeholders as well as clients to coordinate and communicate project status and manage expectations.

Key Areas of Responsibility  1. Responsible for planning technology projects to support the delivery of the relevant objectives and organizational goals. 2. Develop and manage the implementation multiple project plans, recommend action items, establish timelines, identify risk and recommended mitigation plans. Working with each cross functional team to ensure timelines met. 3. Manage internal and external project stakeholders with active communication and updates throughout the duration of the project 4. Manage and oversee project closure and transition to appropriate team(s)

Job Requirements  Education, Experience and Technical skills

  • University Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • 2-4 years of IT Project Management experience
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Effective time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding eye for detail and quality control.

Required Soft Skills and Competencies

  • Project Management - Ability to manage projects with multiple tracks, ensure clear action plans and drive processes with numerous interdependencies.
  • Requires strong customer focus, organizational skills, respect for others, and adaptable to change
  • Excellent communication skills- comfort level with all levels of management and large project teams.
  • Negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to effectively engage, influence and ensure commitment of stakeholders at all levels, with credibility and authority

  • Meeting management and group process facilitation skills are required.
