Membership Administrator

As the Membership Administrator, you will be the point of contact for member inquiries, you would provide timely correspondence, and a notable experience for members and guests. The ideal candidate will be flexible, well spoken, organized and have strong communication skills.

The Arbutus Club is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Membership Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our members have a positive experience and that our membership database is accurate and up to date.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Respond to member inquiries regarding their accounts in a timely manner by navigating and researching transactions, and printing statements upon request.
  • Responsible for correspondence to members in both email and letter format.
  • Support the Membership Director with various administrative tasks and projects as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records in our system and make membership adjustments as required.
  • Lead membership tours to new or prospective members.
  • Requirements & Qualifications

    Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

    Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in an administrative / customer service role

    Associates, bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in business or office administration program considered an asset

    Must be superb multi-taskers and able to work well under pressure
