SOS is a volunteer-based non‑profit organization meeting the needs and improving the lives of District 69 residents since 1968. SOS provides more than 20 local programs and services to all ages, including programs that meet basic needs and promote healthy living and social connections.

The Resource Development Coordinator ensures that initiatives are administered in a professional and effective manner. Performs all aspects of the grant acquisition process. Processes donation receipts, generates reports, and assists with planning and implementing events. Assists the Resource Development Manager with building long‑term relationships with key community stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Related post‑secondary training or a minimum of two years’ related experience.
  • Experience in grant writing and / or event coordination within the non‑profit sector is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive) and databases.
  • Aptitude for and interest in data entry, data reporting, and database management.
  • Ability to work effectively with the SOS team and stakeholders.
  • Ability to commit to occasional evening / weekend work related to supporting events and lift / move boxes and other related activities that require physical mobility.
  • Hours of Work : 35 hours per week

    Compensation : $24.00 - $27.00 / hour dependent upon experience (+ benefits listed above)

    Start Date : Apply early for early start date
