Project Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team in Whitby, Ontario. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing project timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communications to ensure the success of both new and ongoing initiatives. This opportunity combines technical coordination with strategic planning, contributing to impactful projects in the non-profit sector.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate project schedules and deliverables by working closely with Business Analysts and technical teams.
• Organize and facilitate meetings with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment.
• Monitor and track progress on initiatives, including multi-year projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
• Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
• Support budget management processes, ensuring financial timelines are adhered to within the cybersecurity scope.
• Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira and Microsoft Office Suite to manage reporting and project updates.
• Assist in planning and organizing key project milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance communication and streamline workflows.
• Provide input on quality assurance and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Contribute to the overall success of projects by identifying challenges and offering solutions.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the public or non-profit sector.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Atlassian Jira and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, networking, or infrastructure is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and teams.
• Knowledge of budget processes and financial tracking related to project management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel, for documentation and reporting.
