Job Summary:

The G2Gas Fitteris a skilledtradespersonresponsible for installinggas lines to TSSA Standards, fabricating,maintaining, and repairing HVACequipment, sheet metal, or mechanical systems in compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. This role requirestechnicalproficiency, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to delivering quality work on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing gas lines to TSSA standards.
• Install, fabricate, andmaintainHVAC, sheet metal, ductwork, piping, or other mechanical systems according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Read, interpret, and execute work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with company safety policies and provincial/federal regulations.
• Assistin training apprentices and less experienced tradespeople.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of existing systems toidentifydefects and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers,foremen, and other trades to ensurethetimelycompletion of projects.
• Maintainaccuraterecords of materials used, work performed, and project progress.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
  

Qualifications:

• Completion of a G2 journeyman certification.
• Minimum of5years experience in the trade at the G2 level.
• Proficient in blueprint reading, measuring, cutting, and assembly of materials.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the trade.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid drivers license [if travel to multiple sites isrequired].

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials up to50lbs.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and varying weather conditions.
• Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

Work Environment:

• Construction sites, industrial facilities, or residential projects.
• Exposure to dust, noise, and mechanical equipment.
• Safety gear and personal protective equipment (PPE)isrequiredat all times.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work flex hours asrequired.
