The Opportunity
WSP is currently seeking an Operations Manager for Southwest Ontario to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering (LDME) team, based out of our Kitchener office, with hybrid flexible office locations available.
With your local knowledge of the development community, municipal authorities and regulatory agencies, you will be supported by a strong experienced team and will be responsible for :
WSP's LDME team is a close-knit, collaborative team which prides itself on its long-standing relationships of trust with many of the developers, Municipalities, Townships, Cities and Regions across Ontario and Canada.
Partnering with other internal disciplines across WSP, the team is responsible for delivering long-term, both small scale and complex projects in Land Development, covering the entire project life-cycle from conceptual planning & design, through to construction management and client hand-over.
As Operations Manager, your responsibilities will cover Leadership and Strategic growth, staff development, client management, business development, and project delivery for the Southwest Ontario region. You will form partnerships both internally and externally and will be integral to developing and executing project delivery strategy. You will manage financial and technical aspects of all projects through the full project lifecycle from early project phase, proposals and business development activities, to overseeing engineering, design & approvals to office assistance for contract administration and construction.
