Medical Laboratory Technologist vacancy is available now at the Queen Victoria Hospital in Revelstoke, B.C. This is a relief part-time 0.
75fte position within the small Lab team. From Monday to Friday, MLT shifts include days and evenings until midnight, with on-call from midnight until 7am.
Weekends are on-call only from Friday night until Monday morning.

About the position :
MLTs work in a supportive, team-based environment and perform a variety of duties within Chemistry, Hematology and Transfusion Medicine as well as performing venipuncture.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Performing routine and / or complex tests, utilizing manual procedures and automated instruments
- Entering data into the Lab Information System (LIS), related systems and programs
- Validating and reporting test results
- Maintaining instruments, preparing solutions and control agents
- Contributing to training, evaluation and improvement programs
