Your Role & Responsibilities :

Oversee and maintain boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, wastewater treatment, and plant utilities , ensuring efficiency and compliance with TSSA, ESA, GMP, and HACCP standards .

Supervise and support shift engineers , ensuring smooth daily operations and regulatory adherence.

Implement and improve preventive & predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.

Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to optimize energy efficiency and reduce downtime.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure all outsourced maintenance meets industry standards.

Provide technical expertise and collaborate on capital projects & budget planning .

Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing best practices and participating in the Joint Health & Safety Committee .

What You Bring to the Team :

  • 2nd Class Operating Engineer Certification (TSSA) – Required
  • 2+ years of experience in food, beverage, or industrial manufacturing (preferred)
  • Trade license (Millwright and / or Industrial Electrician) is a strong asset
  • Expertise in high-speed filling & packaging lines, PLC troubleshooting
  • Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently while leading and mentoring a team
  • Computer proficiency is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements :

Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and chemical substances

Requires standing, climbing stairs, and working in confined spaces

Flexibility for shift work & emergency call-outs
