As a Commercial Marketer, you’ll play a key role in managing submissions, building carrier relationships, and supporting a busy team of producers. Responsibilities
- Manage and submit commercial risks including fleets, E&O, D&O, CGL, property, pollution, liability, and more
- Work with small to mid-sized risks (primarily $2,000 to $50,000 in premiums)
- Source and present submissions to various carriers and MGAs, including Lloyd’s partners
- Assist with proposals, new business marketing, remarkets, and administrative tasks
- Conduct occasional direct interactions with clients and attend meetings with producers
- Use Epic to process and track submissions
- Support the team’s efforts in developing an in-house MGA system
- Mentor or coach junior team members in marketing processes
Qualifications
RIBO license is a mustStrong knowledge of commercial insurance risks and underwriting practicesExperience managing submissions from start to finish with multiple carriersProficiency with Epic is an assetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrevious experience in commercial insurance marketing is highly desirableBenefits
