Job Description

Our client is a distributor of HVAC products and plumbing supplies. They are looking for an order picker for their busy warehouse floor.

Position : Order picker

Location : Hwy / Hwy 7 (Concord)

Temp to Permanent

Shift : 8 : am-5 : pm Mon-Fri

Payrate : per hour

DUTIES

Review the work orders pending to be filled. Note and process anything requiring special handling first, such as rush requests or customer awaiting.

Prepare any new orders that are received from our sales team. Pick, double check and pack the orders.

When picking an order carefully match the requirement that appear in the Pick pack to the bin description and part number. Pick the exact amount required.

Stage the picked products in the staging area and have a second person verify that your order was picked properly and accurately .

Once verification occurs package the goods and label all boxes / bags clearly with the customer’s name, job name and Order reference numbers.

Advise the shipper / scheduler that order is ready to ship.

Put the finished order in its appropriate shipping and staging shelf.

• Advice the Materials Leader of any problems you may have encountered during the preparation of your orders, such as shortages, damaged products, etc.

Maintain inventory shelves, boxes, bins, etc. clean and safe.

Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
