Job Summary
This is a critical role working as a member of the FP&A team. This role will complete complex financial planning and analysis requirements, offering accurate reporting and thorough analysis of key business information and drivers. The Senior Financial Analyst is a tactical reporter of the business, with a financial focus that extends to all operating areas of the business, reporting to the Manager, FP&A. The ideal candidate is a professional who thrives on using advanced tools for finance systems, visual dashboarding & data mining.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- This position is for senior-level finance professionals that are looking for a fast-paced work environment with ample opportunity for growth and learning
- Perform financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processes
- Responsible for developing financial models, costing models, scenario analysis models, etc. to analyze product profitability using facts, data and financial analysis tools
- Lead in the creation of financial, operational & executive dashboards using Power BI
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite software
- Partners with cross-functional teams in identifying cost efficiencies for the business and evaluating cost management
- Compile, analyze and distribute summary information relating to KPI’s & other metrics
- Coordinate the implementation of processes that facilitate a more efficient month-end review process
- Ensuring the accurate completion of monthly financial analysis for review by the Manager
- Assist in the implementation and development of new systems and processes

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or 2+ years of experience as a Senior Financial Analyst
- University Degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a focus on finance, accounting, or economics. Equivalent education or experience may be considered
- Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or equivalent, or working towards the accounting designation
- Proven ability to be self-driven, capable of adapting to change and simultaneously managing multiple tasks/ projects/ assignments
- Ability to work with and manage confidential information and use independent judgment
- Proven ability to work using Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Knowledge in preparing PowerPoint presentations for senior management
Preferred
- Previous experience in corporate, manufacturing and/or supply chain logistics environment would be considered an asset
- Experience working with WMS OR TMS software
